Equipment & Maintenance
Metso Paper is a Finnish engineering company who specialise in the provision of modern large scale high speed papermaking equipment, particularly for the production of newsprint. Metso Paper has many modern reference sites, demonstrating their enviable track record, including recently completed installations of similar scale in China and Europe.

One North East

Ecco has secured a long term lease over a 66 acre greenfield site at Wilton international, which is owned by One North East, the Development Agency for the North East of England.


Northumbrian Water

Effluent treatment
Northumbrian Water will treat the effluent from Ecco under a long term contract in the very large effluent treatment plant at Bran Sands, which is nearby. Bran Sands treats nearly all of the effluent arising from the Wilton International site, which is a major
petrochemical complex.

SembCorp Utilities UK

Electricity & Steam Supplier
SembCorp is part of the Singaporean listed SembCorp Industries group of companies. SembCorp owns the site infrastructure at Wilton International. SembCorp will supply Ecco with electricity and steam under a long term agreement. Process water will also be supplied through SembCorp's system.
